Most people just do art in art classes.... I bury birds.....
Today I found a little bird on the floor in the corner of my fabrics class. When I told my teacher she freaked out. She wanted it to have a proper burial, so I set it on the table till she would have a chance to take it out.. Well at the end of class she seemed to have forgotten it and people from the next class kept coming over and staring at it. So I picked it up and carried it outside and trekked up a trail on Seahome Hill for a little ways, then dug a little hole and buried it.
I think the most depressing thing about it is that its a beautiful bird. Its called a Golden Crowned Kinglet. [link] I've only seen that type of bird once before, and that one was dead too courtesy of my cat... I've never seen it alive in the wild.

In other news, today's weather was gorgeous. This past weekend was wonderful. Went to Cornet Bay and Deception Pass and had a great time with friends and made a bunch of new friends too. Might have some new photos up soon.
